HOME COOKING.

For me, the best thing about being back at home is having a clean kitchen and endless amounts of food and seasonings that I didn't pay for.
Cooking has never been better.
Tonight I decided to make the most of the clean kitchen and free food and make a feast.
Home comforts at their best...
Roast chicken in a sweet and sticky marinade with sweet & sour pepperdew peppers , honey roast parsnips and dijon honey & mustard mash.

I made a marinade of bbq sauce, sun dried tomato pesto, paprika, salt, pepper, tomato purée, sweet onion relish and a dollop of honey.
Marinate the chicken for as long as possible and place in a roasting tin with chunks of lemon, sweet & sour pepperdew peppers and chopped green peppers (I used green to make it a colourful dish but use whatever colour you prefer)
Roast in the over for 35 minutes until golden brown and sticky.
I used Aunt Bessie's honey roast parsnips and instant mash but you can be less lazy and use the real thing.
With the mash I mixed in butter, milk and Briannas dijon honey mustard dressing to make it extra tasty.

Fucking delicious.
